Who we are

Block 109 was created in 2018 following England’s World Cup campaign that ended with semi-final defeat to Croatia in Moscow. The purpose was to capture the fantastic atmosphere created on the road and bring it back to Wembley Stadium.

Whilst COVID-19 delayed many of our plans, much was achieved in 2020. Despite the absence of supporters during this period, Block 109 continued to create fan led banners for the stadium to ensure the arena looked as colourful and homely as possible for Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions. Furthermore, meetings with The FA saw us arrange for an allocation of group bookings for home matches, to bring as many people as possible together to raise the noise levels at Wembley. This has been a huge success following our return to the stadiums in 2021.

Block 109 organise coach travel to England away matches from airports and neighbouring cities, fundraising events and other supporter events such as the Bier Keller event that was held in Munich ahead of the Nations League match against Germany in June 2022.

During the pandemic our fundraising enabled us to donate over £1000 each to CALM, NHS Charities Together and Alzheimer’s Society, amongst other smaller donations to other causes and charities. Our regular fundraising includes monthly prize draws, sweepstakes, competitions and other events.
